I’m looking for another one of me…
For those of you just starting out in your business or career, regardless of industry or area of focus, experience is one key factor of becoming the best version of yourself. The more experiences you get to have attempting to accomplish something the more skilled you should become at it. If this is true, why do people wait 1 year to have 1 year worth of experience? Better yet 5 or 10 years to have 5 or 10 years of experience in their business? You think I’m crazy now, but really, think about it, if you want to have as much experience as a veteran with 5 or 10 years under their belt, yet you’re not satisfied with waiting that long then just make sure you have as many or more experiences than most 5 to 10 year veterans did in less time. In other words work twice as much as they did and you will have 5 years worth of experience in 2.5 years.
I believe that patience and playing the long game is a missed key for most entrepreneurs, on the other hand there are also many areas that we can be the catalyst for growth. Be patient while working like it’s your last chance.
I’ve been my own brand in the financial services industry for almost 8 years now, but I do it as well as someone in the business for 15 or more years. Maybe you’re just getting started, maybe you have been in your current position for a while now, in any situation you may be in I challenge you to adopt this mindset and see if it doesn’t propel you.

In 2017 I’m looking to transfer as much of what’s in my head to those interested in listening and along the way I hope to select a few of the right people to join my side and become a great addition to the PRESENT Financial Partners Team.
I’m looking for another me from the past, so the current me can train them, creating the me of the future.
