The Best Advice For Organic Growth On Social Media

I hope you’re having a great day! Today, we are going to talk about some tips and tricks for realtors, small business owners and entrepreneurs on how to grow their accounts organically without spending any money on paid ads. Because, let’s be honest, most people think that if you are going to grow your accounts, you have to pay to grow them, right?! To an extent that is true. You just don’t get the organic reach that you used to on Facebook or Instagram. What you need to understand however, is that you could actually grow your brand and grow your audience without having to spend marketing dollars to do so. I’m going to teach you three tips on how to do that. All right?
The first thing is to post consistently and post value consistently. I think a lot of marketers think they need to share their highlights, and that’s how customers are going to reach out. Let’s just use a realtor as an example. Most realtors are only posting highlights. Their just listed’s, just sold’s, pictures of their numbers, how many homes they sold last month, their expertise, et cetera, et cetera. Very infrequently are people posting about actual information that the customer wants. I like to reverse engineer and say, “Okay, if I was my ideal client, and I was looking at a post on social media, what would I want to see from a realtor?”, or, “What would I want to see from a digital marketer?” Whatever industry you’re in, what would I want to see from them? I can tell you right now, if I was a consumer and I was looking for a realtor, I would not care about their just sold’s, their just listed’s, or their numbers. Personally, I want them to answer my questions before I ask them. The best way to do that is to really understand what type of content your ideal client is looking for and provide that to them on a daily basis… not randomly throughout the week or month.

Number two is having a game plan. How many people out there are just posting because they know they have to post? You know that you need to post something because you have to be on social media. It’s what everybody’s telling you you have to do, right? The problem is, you don’t know what to post, or when to post, or how to post, or what to say, or how to say it. You’re just posting. It’s like there’s no game plan. I wouldn’t step onto a football field and just lob the ball up. That doesn’t make any sense. You need to have a game plan. You need to know who you’re playing. You need to know who your audience is. You need to have an actual plan, a way that you can release content strategically, so that you can warm your audience up from not knowing who you are, to eventually using your service or buying your product. How is somebody who doesn’t know you going to reach out to you and say, “You’re the expert. I want to use you.”? You need to warm them up. and take them along that journey. You need to have a plan to strategically release content to take them from a cold lead to a warm lead and a warm lead to, “I’m ready to buy or use your service”. Think with the end goal in mind. As a realtor, if you want first time home buyers, reverse engineer it. How are you going to get them from never knowing who you are all the way to, “I’m ready to buy a home from you”? Think of the questions they may ask and record video and/or create visual content that would answer those questions. By doing that, they see you as the expert and warm up to you over time. The more consistent you are, the better chance you have at scaling and getting actual business from it.

The last thing you need is professional branding. If you can’t afford professional branding, then I highly recommend using the site canva.com. It’s a free site where you can create really attractive, professional looking marketing materials, social media posts, banners for your pages, your platforms, your profiles, etc. You can create your logos from it. Not only that, it’s easy to use, it’s clean, and it’s simple. And like I said, it’s FREE, so you got no excuses to be putting up shitty content that looks like it was made by a second grader! Enough with the excuses! If you don’t have the money to pay for a professional to create a logo and make sure that you have all the right branding and all the right marketing materials, it’s FINEEEE. Don’t worry about it. I didn’t pay anybody, I just did it all myself. Canva.com is a perfect way to do that.
If you need anything, if you have any questions just let me know. This is the best advice I have for really growing your account organically. I went from, around a thousand followers to 12,000 followers in a year pretty much just doing this. Sure, I threw in a little bit of paid advertisements here and there just to kind of boost it a little bit, but at the end of the day, most of the traffic that I’ve driven has been completely organic. It’s so important that you focus on organically growing. Stop paying for fake followers that only boost your ego temporarily.
