It’s all just so unbearably predictable isn’t it.

Once you’ve seen one modern terror attack you’ve seen them all.

First the shock
Then the sadness
Then the outpouring of solidarity (by this time all constructive energy has dissipated)
Then the temporary Facebook profile pictures
People whining about people being bigoted
People being bigoted
The conspiracy theories
The political outrage
The political exploitation
The xenophobia

Pretty soon Manchester will just be another name associated with a time and a body count

That’s what really fucks me off in times like this

Terror attacks are indistinct from one another, they become part of a wider narrative of tragedy

The attacks and those who exploit them, remove the individuality and the humanity from these times and places, leaving only death

Terror attacks are now a ‘one size fits all’ political tool

A Rorschach test for politically minded and morally bankrupt.
