As a metro Detroiter, most of us would not consider ourselves to be “represented” by Jemele Hill…
Corey Brewer

Corey, you bring up a great point, which I’d like to research for another post sometime, but I do feel as if ESPN does a better job at selecting players and former executives from different media markets. Jalen Rose, Randy Moss, Charles Woodson, Chauncey Billups, Tim Hasselback, Louis Riddick, and Bill Polian all have more varied backgrounds in terms of where they grew up and where they played/worked in college/pro football than the main personalities. Perhaps it’s their way of trying to balance things out, but when so much of their front and center programming on the main ESPN channel dominated by journalist of varied credibility, it becomes a bit of a reality/perception problem for them.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
