Available today on Hulu is the original film, Palm Springs. Palm Springs stars Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti as two wedding guests stuck in an infinite time-loop similar to a Groundhogs Day scenario. The film is a very delightful rom-com and an easy watch at only 90 minutes.
Watch the trailer below:
Palm Springs is great. There are a lot of time-loop movies out there like Groundhogs Day, Edge of Tomorrow, Happy Death Day, Source Code, and I think Palm Springs is a nice addition to that list.

This past weekend on Netflix, Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga debuted. The film follows the team of two small-town Icelanders who chase their dream of competing in the Eurovision song competition. The film stars Will Ferrell, Rachel McAdams, Pierce Brosnan, Demi Lovato, and Dan Stevens.

Coming into this film, I had very low expectations. The trailer seemed bizarre and the Will Ferrell shtick is tired. However, I ended up enjoying the movie to some extent. While the movie is not the funniest thing that…
Recently, we spoke with Chris Peng, the founder of the Boston based nonprofit health business, PhysioQ. PhysioQ was originally built to make research easier and more affordable for doctors who want to run research and medical tests. The business focusses on adding features to wearables, allowing them to track vitals that are the focus on certain medical studies. This is a much more modern and advanced way to gather and conduct research in the medical field.
One of their wearables partners is (pictured below)
Sweaty and nervous, Mike Geary walked into a quaint office in Milton, Massachusetts for a job interview. Mike recalls the conversation going poorly. He said he had forgotten his resume and everything from there had gone downhill. The interview was just about over when Mike let the interviewer know that he was legally blind in hopes this would entice the interviewer to hire him. Mike was right.
That interview was with Dave Portnoy back in 2015 for an internship position at Barstool Sports. …

This week, AT&T rolled out its new streaming service, HBO Max. The streaming service joins a crowded market that includes incumbents like Netflix and Hulu as well as some newcomers like Disney+ and Apple TV+. While the service has lots of content and the HBO brand behind it, there are some glaring issues with HBO Max and its rollout.
The first issue is THE NAME.
I understand that naming your AT&T streaming service something like WarnerMedia+ would not be that enticing to consumers, but HBO already has two other streaming services, HBO…

Music festivals-you walk in, the venue is packed, the lights are bright and the beat is thumping. What can be a fun weekend for some, is how Adam Lynn makes a living. Adam Lynn is the founder of Prime Social Group, primarily known for the Breakaway Music Festival. Adam has been grinding and hustling to keep his business going during these tough times, yet he was still nice enough to speak with me about the current state of the industry and how he built his business.
Check out our quick pitch on Market Wizards by Jack D. Schwager
Are you stuck at home, looking for something to read? If so, I would recommend you check out Market Wizard. This national bestseller by Jack D. Schwager is full of interviews with some of the top stock traders of the 1980s such as Paul Tudor Jones and William O’Neil. The book goes deep into the background of each interviewee, providing insights into success on Wall Street. The book contains 17 interviews, and while some elements may be dated, there are plenty of meaningful takeaways from notable figures.

A year ago I stumbled upon the book, The Buy Side, on a list of best finance/Wall Street books to read. I ordered a copy and blazed through it in a couple of days. The Buy Side details Turney Duff’s 15-year roller coaster of a career on Wall Street and touches on everything from drugs and sex, to money and greed. It is a New York Times Bestseller and I can not recommend it enough, especially if you are looking for something to read while stuck at home.
