Airbnb is an app that has recently gained lots of traction. It is for people that may be looking for a place to stay in about anywhere available over the world. People host their house or spare rooms to other people using this app. Rates may vary per location depending on the city, room size and luxury of the place. Recently, I took the chance to try it out in new york city. Whylie, I was kind of nervous to book my stay. I paid 152$ for a two night stay. Pretty cheap if you ask me. I had found some rooms & houses in soho up too 500$ a night but noo I took the decent route & tryed to save here haha. The host of the house was a couple who turned out to be quite delightful. At first, I had trouble finding the place, apple maps took me to two different houses which was frankly frustrating at first. Random people were all scared and looked at me like an idiot haha because I asked if this was my airbnb. One of the host ended up calling me and I told her the situation. We decided to meet up near a barbershop nearby.Thank god she met up with us and she took us the right direction to her place. The neighborhood was filled with cars and houses side by side but that’s normal in new york. As we entered the doors the host showed us around the house 🏡 & to our rooms & Offered us food. Overall the place was Clean , minimalistic plus free coffee it was a great stay haha! The couple had even invited us to go dancing with them in soho but sadly we didn’t get to go & kept texting us to see if we needed anything. We hardly got to see them around the house expect for check in & check out time. The husband helped carry our luggage out. Overall this stay was 5 stars for me. Thanks to airbnb I found better location and a place to stay for a great price! I hope to continue using this app. Although many hosts will probably wont be as great as mine. I’ve seen many rooms who have 1 star reviews however this was honestly five stars from gratitude & thoughtfulness from them.
