A Beautifully Crafted Sci Fi Adventure

From the moment I hit play, I sat wide eyed in wonder at the sheer beauty of this film. I found myself fully immersed in an intriguing portrayal of the future, my eyes all the while gulping in its beauty.

As the movie unfolded, I soon discovered that this breathtaking world that I was in, had intensely sinister workings behind it. Never sure who to trust and who to be weary of, I was right there along side out heroin in her plight to exist in an world that wants nothing more that to see her, and all like her, dead! Dangerous twists and turns lead me further and further into this tale of making the difficult choice to be true to who you are, while the seemingly colossal pressure of society harasses you to conform.

Moments of anguish and pain more powerful than a tidal wave washed over me several times, making me get behind the ever endearing Tris even more, willing her with every fibre of my being to stay alive. This movie has been on my radar for over a year, tempting me to be watched on countless occasions. I’m overjoyed that I finally did, because in it I found an exciting and wonderful story that has quickly become one of my favourites.
