I’m fairly sure it was some wise person or disclaimer who said “past performance is no indication of future performance”. I don’t disagree that doing better would be better but also not 100% convinced you can predict 2020 with enough accuracy, based on yesterday, to be as pessimistic as you sound. Having said all that there’s no evidence to the contrary either so it definitely would pay for the leadership to do some soul searching and analysis…
