Coding for a serverless future
Jay Rodgers

If each serverless function URL could be defined with and queried for return type and input type, importing them by URL as named functions into any language under any FaaS provider would become a plausible future reality. And theoretically, queried by input type, a generic function could query it’s children by input type to allow statically typed checked systems. I’m surprised the smallest useful steps in this direction don’t appear to be being taken.
