The “cilantrophobes” aren’t a community because they do not communicate.

You wonderfully spell this out in the article, but I’m going to write in all caps so the point is broadcast, even from the comments:

In order to commune (form a community), you have to have communication. Or in other words:

IF THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION = THERE IS NO COMMUNITY

Question for other folks: Do you think that if there is poor communication, this necessarily leads to a poor (or dysfunctional) community?
