  • Discussed possible narratives
  • Distributed research focus points (macro v. micro)
  • Short analysis for preparing content + script

The focus of today’s meeting was to take on a macro and micro perspective on how the visual elements speak to the narrative theme of Fast Company magazine. Rooting from an ambition to publish future-making entrepreneurial content, Fast Company has always endeavored to establish itself as an institution in the forefront of the innovative business world.

By observing and collecting information of the spreads, the group decided on where to take the story of this presentation. More than often, we were drawn towards the bold contrast and eye-grabbing visual rhetoric that brands the media company with a distinguished image.

The next step to this project is continuing research with a focus on common patterns or graphic techniques that speak to the image of Fast Company magazine.
