You have all heard about……
Meditating
Many of you think it is boring, inefficient, not cool or relevant.
However, I am about to debunk this belief and provide clarity for you on the benefits that incorporating daily meditation into your life can do for you.
Athletics
All high performing athletes know the mental game is just as important as the physical.
Meditation provides an ability to largely improve your mental game and sport Performance.
It does this through:
Increasing the grey matter in the prefrontal cortex region of the brain responsible for focus and decreases the size of your amygdala which is responsible for stress and fear.
As shown in the following there is Scientific Evidence that meditating will help put you far ahead of your peers.

Academics
Studies have shown that meditation improves academic performance at any level.
It reduces stress, anxiety, and depression.
It improves your behaviour and mood but also your Brains functioning.
In high school, studies have shown an increase in student's test scores and speed of learning and understanding new material.
How its Help me
Personally I have seen a large improvement in my ability to get work done effectively and on time. My desire to procrastinate is much less than it previously was and I am able to get much more work done in a shorter amount of time.
Also on the Golf side of things I have seen a large improvement with my confidence and commitment. I am able to accept bad shots and welcome unwanted thoughts to allow my mind to be free to execute and perform.
How do you start Mediating:
I recommend the app Headspace and using the free trial.
If you see a benefit I would buy a membership.
Another alternative is the app Calm.
