The article to which I responded addresses the blockchain, not Bitcoin specifically. My perspective speaks to a novel space of experimental innovation, not a singular implementation.

This thrust of exploration will eventually settle upon new modes of representing and communicating human value at an exponentially higher degree of granularity using decentralized and trustless systems.

That’s the big innovation, as it empowers humanity to more effectively mitigate the mismatches between our species’ evolved economic intuitions and our present globally interconnected network of disparate incentives.
