Great question. To be frank, emotional stability is incredibly important. So how do you determine this?

  1. Change the subject and see how they respond.
  2. Ask about what was their prior boss’s biggest flaw
  3. Ask when they had to take responsibility for a failure in their organization. How did they do it, and did they think it was fair.

It is impossible to always find great people. But it is worthwhile to weed out the truly corrosive
