Would you agree though that today’s filter bubbles are a lot more amplified compared to the predigital age? I have the feeling that nowadays people are a lot more eager to secure the borders of their bubble when they start to feel uncomfortable with the diversity of opinions that are out there.

I totally understand the comfort of existing in an environment that where the things that surround are not that challenging. But i think that the social media echo chambers that exist today are more about distorting reality than shielding a person from the things that happen outside his/her environment.
