A poem about cheating.

Every single evening,
We used to text,
About our plans for the future,
And what we’d do next.

Each night you said you loved me,
And you also said you cared,
Whenever I needed to talk,
You said you would be there.

But then you cheated on me,
Had sex with another guy,
You said that you were sorry,
And tried to apologize.

This relationship is over,
And it’ll be difficult to stay friends,
Because my heart is broken,
So this is the end.

A poem about heartbreak.

You broke my heart,
So I want to reflect,
About everything we could’ve been,
And what we both said.

It feels like I’m in the dark,
And you were my guiding light,
But why we did we have to end this,
And why did we have to fight?

You ripped out a piece of my heart,
And now it’s gone forever,
I don’t know what I’ll do,
Now that we’re not together.

So I’m sitting here alone,
And I don’t know what to say,
But I want you to take me back,
And love me again.

Apply them to your life if you want to stop overthinking.

I used to think that it was impossible to manage anxiety. It kept me awake at night, ruined my relationships, and continually made me think about everything that could go wrong. Honestly, I thought I’d have to live with it for the rest of my life.

But a year ago, something changed. I suddenly started reading books about mental health, psychology, and other subjects to understand my negative thoughts.

Slowly but surely, I managed to understand my mindset and improve my mental health for the better. …

Let America be free again,
Let its citizens be able to dream,
About a better future,
And what they can do and see.

Let America be united,
Let its children be free to say,
Anything that’s on their mind,
Without worrying about division or hate.

So let America come together,
As the land of the free and brave,
Because one thing is for certain,
It’s a truly special place.

Practice genuine acceptance.

Without even knowing you, I can tell that you want to improve your relationship. But for one reason or another, you have absolutely no idea where to start.

According to Men’s Journal, 56% of men haven’t had sex in a year. But contrary to what a lot of people may think, a healthy relationship needs a lot more than intimacy.

If you want to connect with each other on a meaningful level, you need to implement actions that highlight your mutual desire to have a long-lasting relationship. John Joseph Powell said it best:

“It is an absolute human certainty that no one can know his own beauty or perceive a sense of his own worth until it has been reflected back to him in the mirror of another loving, caring human being.” …

Simple strategies that you can use to become your best self.

Self-improvement is all about becoming the type of person you want to be. But for one reason or another, we often make it a lot more complicated than necessary.

Without even knowing you, I can tell that you have a lack of time and energy. You want to make consistent progress towards your dreams and fulfill your potential in every aspect of your life. But for one reason or another, you have absolutely no idea where to start.

Look, I know exactly how you feel as I’ve found myself in the same position many times. But over the past few years, I’ve learned that the easiest way to improve your future is by implementing daily habits that help you to become your best self.

What you do each evening has a big impact on your productivity.

Imagine it. You get inspired by an article and decide to wake up early, so you can become extremely productive during your self-improvement journey. But no matter how hard you try, you can’t even find the energy or motivation to get out of bed.

Sound familiar? I thought so. Over the years, I’ve found myself in the same position as you many times. But I’ve found that what you do each evening has a big impact on your productivity. Like Arianna Huffington once said:

“The way to a more productive, more inspired, more joyful life is getting enough sleep.”

An evening routine built on good habits is essential. Because when you get enough sleep each night, it’s much easier to focus on every aspect of life that genuinely matters to you. …

Everyone wants to be happy,
But almost none of us know how,
So every day, we try to think,
About how we can live a better life right now.

We chase a monthly paycheck,
We go to work each day,
We sacrifice the present moment,
In the hope that we’ll be happy someday.

It becomes an endless cycle,
It’s a better life that we pursue,
So we can provide for our families,
And everything else we need to do.

But happiness is not external,
It comes from deep inside,
So look within your heart and mind,
And a better life you shall find.

It’s important to forgive our friends,
Whenever they make mistakes,
Because we are all human,
So let’s spread love instead of hate.

It’s important to forgive our family,
Whenever they make us mad,
Because they’re an integral part of our lives,
So we should be happy instead of sad.

It’s important to forgive our loved ones,
So here’s what you need to know,
Everyone makes mistakes and errors,
But we learn from them and grow.

Contrary to what you might think, it’s actually pretty easy.

How often do you find yourself wanting to achieve mental clarity?

It’s something that many people want to do. But for one reason or another, most people have absolutely no idea where to start.

Contrary to what some content creators on YouTube might say, you don’t need to sit on a beach in California to meditate. Instead, you just need to be comfortable sitting alone with your thoughts.

So if you want to begin a daily meditation habit that’s incredibly easy to maintain, here’s how to start.

Find A Little Bit Of Time In Your Schedule.

I used to think it was impossible to create a daily meditation habit as I never had several hours in my schedule to sit down and think. So naturally, I immediately gave up on the idea as it wasn’t feasible. …

If you want to become successful, start by making an impact.

You’ve probably heard many people say, “It’s not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game.” And when it comes to writing, they’re totally correct.

If you want to become an incredibly successful writer, you need to have the right incentives that will inspire you to keep going — even when things get tough.

So naturally, writing solely to improve your bank account will only get you so far, as you’ll quickly lose motivation whenever your earnings drop. …

I used to open my bedroom window,
And look up at the night sky,
It made me feel inspired,
And people often wondered why.

The reason was never astronomy,
Or anything else you might suggest,
Instead, it was a feeling of optimism,
Knowing that I could achieve my best.

The stars shine for billions of years,
And provide light where there is none,
So if I can do the same for others,
My work on this earth is done.

Because I believe in optimism,
And a future that’s worthwhile,
All we need to do is come together,
Put aside our differences, and smile.

Here’s why you should consider doing the same.

I used to wake up each morning and instinctively reach for my phone. I couldn’t help it. Although I didn’t want to admit it, I was extremely addicted to all the notifications and news stories that continually lit up my screen.

For a long time, that was how I lived. I compulsively checked my social media messages and notifications whenever I had an opportunity. As a result, the quality of my relationships massively suffered. Sure, I was connected to social media. But the harsh truth is that I was completely disconnected from reality.

Deep down, I knew that I needed to improve my way of thinking. The only problem? I had absolutely no idea where to start. But one day, I came across a Netflix documentary about Bill Gates that changed my life forever. …

Small adjustments to your mindset can make a big difference.

For a long time, I thought it was impossible to become successful at anything. Having grown up in a small British town, I was always surrounded by people with a negative mindset. So naturally, I had no reason to believe my life would ever change for the better.

But while reading a book in my local library, I came across a great quote from Darren Hardy that improved my mindset forever. It goes like this:

“The first step toward change is awareness. If you want to get from where you are to where you want to be, you have to start by becoming aware of the choices that lead you away from your desired destination.” …

Who’s creating division, hostility, and hate?
Why are we fighting with each other,
Instead of focusing on what makes us great?

Why are we arguing about police brutality?
It shouldn’t be controversial,
Why don’t we question the legality?

Why are we always on the brink of nuclear war?
Why are we selling weapons to countries,
That genocide the poor?

What’s going to happen to the world in a century?
The Polar Bears and Pandas,
Will they become a distant memory?

We need answers to these questions,
They affect you and me,
Because one day this world,
Will be unrecognizable to see.

But first,
We need to face up to reality,
Look inside our hearts,
And question our humanity.

A poem about mental health.

Anxiety kept me up at night,
It made me overthink,
I kept getting negative thoughts,
My mental health was on the brink.

It led me down a dark path,
I was extremely worried each day,
I couldn’t help but feel insecure,
And nervous about what people say.

Friends always tried to comfort me,
And said everything would be fine,
But my feelings were indescribable,
And impossible to define.

So one by one they left me,
They said they couldn’t understand,
Why I couldn’t get rid of negative thoughts,
And try to be a man.

But that type of thinking is toxic,
Especially if you can’t see,
What someone else is going through,
So show some empathy.

Three essential pillars of a healthy relationship.

Everyone wants to have an extremely healthy relationship. The only problem? Most people have absolutely no idea where to start.

It’s a common issue that many couples face. But over the past few years, I’ve learned that three things can make a massive difference in the quality of your relationship.

Here they are.

Your Partner Trusts You.

It’s impossible to have a healthy relationship if it’s built on lies instead of trust. …

Love doesn’t require dependance,
Abuse, arguments and pain,
It’s not changing who you are inside,
Just so you can see someone again.

The meaning of love is to cherish,
And care for someone until you die,
You want them in your life every day,
Due to the way they make you feel inside.

So remember to love your partner,
And tell them what’s on your mind,
Because love prospers when you show respect,
And consistently be kind.

A poem about having a positive mindset.

If you have a positive mindset,
And improve your attitude,
Whenever you encounter adversity,
You’ll experience gratitude.

You’ll see the good in every person,
And feel optimistic every day,
You’ll smile, laugh, and be happy,
Knowing that everything will be okay.

So if you want to improve your mindset,
And feel like you always have a plan,
Stop worrying about what you cannot control,
And focus solely on what you can.

A poem about productivity.

We procrastinate to distract ourselves,
From each aspect of our lives,
But when we don’t make any progress,
We often can’t figure out why.

We don’t know the value of hard work,
Nor the importance of perseverance,
Because we’re too caught up in drama,
Like others opinions and our appearance.

Procrastination breeds failure,
Regret, defeat, and pain,
Get off your ass and do the work,
You may never get this opportunity again.

Accept them if you want to be incredibly successful.

A few days ago, one of my closest friends asked what it’s actually like to be a full-time writer. After all, he wanted to be like me and create a full-time income doing something he truly loves.

He said it would “be amazing to start a blog, write a book, and do various other things that writers typically do.” The only problem? He had absolutely no idea how to start.

We had a conversation on Zoom for several hours about what it genuinely takes to succeed in 2020. …

A poem about travel.

A thousand miles from home,
I’m walking along the beach,
The warm sun is shining,
There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.

The birds are singing in the trees,
The sky is baby blue,
I want to visit every country,
Including Mexico and Peru.

The reason why I travel,
Isn’t to take pictures for Instagram,
It’s to find a sense of meaning,
And discover who I really am.

A poem about a broken heart.

If I wrote you a song,
And sang about my pain,
Would you say you never loved me,
Or would you get back with me again?

If I traveled across the ocean,
And sailed the seven seas,
Would you give me another chance,
Or would you leave me crying on my knees?

I just want us to be together,
I want to hold you in my arms,
I want to be with you for the rest of my life,
So will you give me another chance?

My heart is torn and broken,
And I don’t know what to do,
I just want you to be here,
Because I’m lost without you.

If applied, they will change the way you see the world.

Why do you have a negative mindset?

If you’re anything like my past self, you have a lack of direction and clarity in life.

You want to wake up each morning feeling optimistic about what the future has in store. But for one reason or another, you can’t figure out how to begin improving every aspect of your life for the better.

Right? You think, “If I can get this new job or increase my monthly income, then I’ll finally be happy.” …

A poem about books.

Every book is an opportunity,
A chance to turn the page,
To a new chapter of your life,
And feel gratitude for each day.

It doesn’t matter if you read fiction,
Or want to learn something new,
If you want to feel inspired,
Reading is all you need to do.

So visit your local library,
Or download a book to your phone,
Because the more you read, the more you think,
And the more things you will know.

I fell in love with reading,
It’s my favorite thing to do,
So find a book that you’ll enjoy,
And maybe you will, too.
