It’s not just America- it’s being human. We’re all racist. It kept us alive for hundreds of thousands of years. Humans had to categorize and make snap judgements about things- types of animals, varieties of plants, other humans.

Stereotyping is a survival instinct- our goal to not be driven by the instinct.

But don’t think the instinct will ever go away.
