I become Adidas miCoach ambassador!
Not that I’m getting hundreds of e-mails every day, but most of them are certain advertisements or reports from social networks. Here and there comes some e-mail that has hidden the surprise. This was one of that e-mail. Let’s story begin…
In mid-June, I received an e-mail from Adidas miCoach team which I just couldn’t miss. Not that my hands were shaking, but I had a big smile on his face and in my head was ringing that Adidas invited me to become one of the miCoach ambassadors.

Of course, I immediately clicked on reply button because this is the opportunity I couldn’t miss. When confirmation e-mail arrived, my happiness knew no bounds! I wanted to scream like those Japanese high school girls.
Joke on to the side, but it’s very nice when you get a call like this to join a team or a project that is on such a global scale. On the one hand, you know that others see your hard work, persistence and they respect that. Of course that all this did not happen overnight and of itself. I invest a lot of running hours. To be precisely 386:56:40 hours.

The Adidas miCoach application I first started using way back in 2010 when I had BlackBerry which had a GPS and I wanted somehow track and store my runs. I searched former BB Store for an app and it found the miCoach app, which had good ranting. I installed an app and started using it. This seemed like a convenient way to have all running data in one place without having to write in a notebook.
As the years passed, the mobile industry changed drastically and I moved from BB to the iPhone, Windows Phone and eventually stayed on Android. This is naturally connected with the way I used a miCoach app. Although I tried different running apps and some of them I actively used, somehow I always went back to miCoach. In order not to lose the continuity that I already had in the miCoach I’ve always tried to import running data from other applications to the miCoach system.

It would be selfish of me to say that other running app are not good. Actually, it’s a good thing that there are plenty of applications that are quite similar, but again offer some unique features that consumers love. This similarity is pushing app developers to be more productive and to offer something new that would persuade customers to try this application.
The reason why I was always returning to the miCoach is simplicity and support for all three mobile platforms ( Android, iOS i Windows Phone). Recently presents app version 4.4 is, even more, simplified and more fun to use. But the biggest advantage that miCoach has are free “training plans” with which everyone can improve their running. I regularly use plans and they just work.
It should be noted that miCoach application change name to “train & run” so that there would be no confusion that this is another application!

Maybe I turned a little from miCoach ambassador story, but this is all part of it. To all that I’m regular, an active user reported many bugs and suggest new features. This is all one of the ways to become an ambassador. In fact, the key is communication with the brand itself. You just have to remember that communication always goes in two directions. This was one way that got my an invitation to join miCoach ambassador program.
One of the things that I am most looking forward is an exchange of running experiences with other miCoach ambassadors who are coming from different parts of the world. This is a colorful and diverse brotherhood that has 31 ambassadors from 15 countries: Germany, UK, Belgium, Spain, Croatia, Finland, Sweden, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, USA, Canada, Argentina, Australia and China.
