Dear JavaScript,
Jamie Kyle

If you want something to grow, you feed it — we must feed the creators of open source software with positivity and some limited constructive criticism. OSS is one of the miracles of our age, and we must positively reinforce its existence and all the people who are behind it. I accept some of the fatigue because along with it comes great software, a community of people willing to work on stuff for free, and the amazing productivity of building apps from NPM modules instead of starting from scratch every time. It allows us to stand on the shoulders of giants, and we must remember to not throw the baby out with the bathwater.
