I’m wondering if our educational institutions using that lecture format are losing the race to create engaging learning experiences for students. Creating an engaging environment is more difficult and doing that is now easier than ever with better tools and access to information.

The teachers I learned from most in my schooling in NY enrolled me by challenging me dynamically rather than simply lecturing. What happens if schools systems cannot adapt well and change to fit methods of learning around them? Scary some time to ponder. Can learning outside of school overtake learning through our educational school systems?
