Cheers for the excellent explanation, but this is way too complicated. And this is just for the nomination. The nomination for a shot at going against another nominee to get voted President.

Despite the importance of the job, this is overkill. Give all of the candidates 100 days to campaign, give everyone an equal vote — none of this delegate nonsense — and let people rock up and vote.
