10 months ago I launched my campaign for president. Here are the things I’ll never forget.
Hillary Clinton

Well, if curbing the substance abuse problem means continuing the War on Drugs or stepping it up, you’re not the right candidate. The way to curb addiction is to help people. Instead of militarizing police departments, stiffening laws, and imprisoning people, how about spending those billions of dollars on education, treatment, and rehabilitation in a medical. realm, not a punitive one. The War on Drugs has decimated families, ruined lives, and caused more death than drug abuse ever has. It is a brute-force non-solution, typical of our conservative lawmakers and politicians, instead of an intellectual, compassionate, positive and faith-based approach, which I hope would be the desire of Progressives.

So, Hillary, what would you do about substance abuse?
