Walking Into the Night
During a dark and lonely night,
When you looked, all you saw was rain,
There wasn't even a creature in sight.
Out comes a figure, hobbling in pain,
They were hard to see, women or man?
They could tell the person was trying to complain
He would be approaching us in a short span,
We didn't know what to do, so we watched.
But then noticed that they could barely stand.
While he was walking, he started to crouch,
We started to see that he wasn't wearing much,
Nothing but a small, little swatch.
As he approached us, he gave us a such,
Small smile, and then reached out to touch.
