Being able to look back at the more innocent joys of youth and acknowledge that, while life may have been easier, it was also less fulfilling, is one of the major turning points in adulthood. I find myself looking back fondly on the age of no responsibility, but at the same time I can recognise that my life now has more meaning, not just for me, but for everyone around me.
