Thanks for the honest and articulate response — far more effective counterpoint to the NY Times piece than any official response from AMZN. Still, I’m a software engineer in Seattle, and AMZN has a serious reputation problem that aligns rather neatly with the article. Perception is reality, and the perception here is that AMZN chews through people like grapeshot. No one I know who has left AMZN felt it was a healthy experience. My sample size may be small, but all my data points correlate.
