Let me know when deBruyne actually wins something…i.e. the Champion’s League with Man City or the Euros or World Cup with Belgium. Until he does that, any claims of greatness are premature.

Because its easy to be a “great” player when your team has more talent in its pinky finger than most of your opponents have on their whole squad.

The true test of any player’s greatness is their ability to lead their national team to success…with club teams it’s too easy for the big clubs to buy success.
