Thanks, now I understand why you and your siblings, and parents, haven’t helped with the work around the house. I understand the feeling of being needed and productive, I think we all feel that way, but even more so as we age. Have you ever considered that another reason your grandfather doesn’t fix up the house could be due to the fact that there is noone to fix it up for? If your family visited more often, perhaps he’d want to make it look nice. When you’re the only one who sees it, it’s easy to let it go. Not a criticisim, just a thought.
