Chakra refers to energy centers in your body and meaning “wheel” in Sanskrit. They are supposed to be spinning energy discs that should remain “open” and aligned because they correspond to nerve bundles, key organs, and parts of our energetic body that influence our emotional and physical well-being.

Although there are 114 chakras, there are only seven major ones that travel along your spine. These are the chakras that most of us are talking about when we say chakras.

Each of the seven main chakras has its own number, name, color, and health focus, as well as an unique location of the spine from the sacrum to the crown of the head.

Root Chekra(Muladhara) :

A blocked root chakra can cause medical ailments such as arthritis, constipation, and bladder or intestinal troubles, as well as emotional ones such as insecurity about money or our basic wants and well-being. We will feel anchored and comfortable, both physically and emotionally, when it is in alignment and open.

Sacral Chekra(Svadhishthana) :

Problems with the linked organs, such as urinary tract infections, lower back pain, and impotency, can indicate an issue with this chakra. This chakra is emotionally linked to our sentiments of self-worth, particularly our thoughts of self-worth related to pleasure, sexuality, and creativity.

Solar Plexus Chakra(Manipura) :

Digestive problems such as ulcers, heartburn, eating disorders, and indigestion are common symptoms of third chakra blockages. It is the chakra that represents our personal power. This suggests it has something to do with our self-esteem and confidence.

Heart Chakra(Anahata) :

Heart problems, asthma, and weight problems can all be symptoms of blockages in the heart chakra. However, people’s actions often reveal blockages even more clearly.

People with blocked heart chakras frequently put others before themselves, to their harm. It’s in the middle of the seven chakras, thus it connects our higher and lower chakras, as well as our ability to love and connect with others. When our chakras are out of whack, we can feel lonely, insecure, and isolated.

Throat Chakra(Vishuddha):.

This chakra, as one might imagine, is linked to our ability to communicate verbally. A blockage might be indicated by problems with the voice and throat, as well as any problems with the teeth, gums, and mouth. Dominating conversations, gossiping, speaking without thinking, and having difficulty speaking your thoughts are all signs of blocks or misalignment. When you’re in alignment, you’ll speak and listen with compassion, and you’ll be confident in your words because you’ll know you’re being true to yourself.

Third Eye Chakra(Ajna) :

Because this chakra is positioned on the head, obstructions can cause headaches, vision or concentration problems, and hearing concerns. A block can also affect people who have difficulty listening to reality (who appear to “know it all”) or who are not in touch with their intuition. People are said to follow their intuition and be able to perceive the broader picture when they are open and aligned.

Crown Chakra(Sahasrara) :

Because the crown chakra is connected to all of the other chakras (and thus all of the organs in this system), it affects not only those organs, but also our brain and nervous system. It is known as the enlightenment chakra and reflects our spirituality and connection to our life’s mission. Those who have their crown chakra blocked may appear closed-minded, sceptical, or unyielding. When this chakra is open, it is said to aid in the opening of all other chakras and to offer happiness and enlightenment to the person.

As you read, one of these energetic regions of the body that connect to moods certainly struck a chord with you. Tomorrow, a different one might strike a chord with you. One is likely to connect with you more than the others as a persistent issue, a chakra where you frequently encounter roadblocks. Other stumbling blocks may appear from time to time. These patterns have specific designations in the chakra system, as well as prescribed therapies.
