As an entrepreneur and online fitness coach that’s constantly on-the-go, I’m often looking to fuel-up with some macro-friendly fast food choices.

And while it’s not always easy — it can be done.

Hopefully this article will help you make some better nutrition decisions when you have no other choice but to eat fast food!

Grilled Chicken Sandwich + Fruit Cup

I’m personally a huge fan of Chick-fil-A! Their menu is pretty incredible, especially when it comes to fitting their food options into your macros. Give them a shot — just not on Sunday, because they’re closed that day!

Protein = 29g, Carbs = 48g, Fat = 6g, Total Calories = 355

Burrito Supreme®— Chicken

Alright, this one probably isn’t the most healthy option on the planet — it’s definitely not, lol — but it is the most macro-friendly option on Taco Bell’s menu (at least from what I’ve seen).

Protein = 20g, Carbs = 49g, Fat = 12g, Total Calories = 380

Reduced-Fat Turkey Bacon & Egg White Breakfast Sandwich + Unsweetened Grande Iced Coffee

Yeah, the reduced-fat turkey bacon sandwich is as macro-friendly as you can get when it comes to fast food! It’s definitely one of my “go-to” choices when I’m on-the-go. Also, an added bonus to add some flavor to your unsweetened iced coffee is to add a pump or two of sugar-free vanilla sweetener — enjoy!

Protein = 16g, Carbs = 28g, Fat = 6g, Total Calories = 235

  • Order 2 reduced-fat turkey bacon sandwiches for macros like this: 32g protein, 56g carbs, 12g fat and only 470 calories!

Chopped Farmhouse Salad — Roast Turkey + Roast Beef Classic

Alright so this meal is a little bit higher in fat and total calories than the other meals I’ve listed so far, but that’s alright because it’s also high in protein and contains a bunch of micronutrients! #health

Protein = 45g, Carbs = 45g, Fat = 27g, Total Calories = 590

Southwest Grilled Chicken Salad + Fruit ‘N Yogurt Parfait

Woah… Way-to-go McDonald’s! This meal is high-protein and low-fat and it contains a bunch of micronutrients. If you’re going through the drive-through here (or making a pit-stop) this would be my go-to meal.

Protein = 41g, Carbs = 57g, Fat = 14g, Total Calories = 510

Burrito Bowl

There’s no denying it… Chipotle is my favorite macro-friendly, moderately-healthy fast food option. Yes, it’s a little higher in calories, but it’s a voluminous meal that’ll help you hit protein targets and keep you full.

Here’s what you’ll need to order to get the macros I’ve listed below: chicken, white rice, black beans, fajita vegetables, fresh tomato salsa, cheese and romaine lettuce.

Protein = 49g, Carbs = 69g, Fat = 20g, Total Calories = 660

  • If you have the calories, carbs and fat to spare, my pro-tip is to add (3) soft flour tortillas to your order (free of charge) for an extra 250 calories, 6g protein, 40g carbs and 8g fat.
