This is not how they view it. The rich of Silicon Valley think of themselves a class apart, exempt from these problems, and will push their kids into high-earning STEM jobs so they can afford to live in the ludicrously expensive housing market they’ve created through their greed. $4000-a-month studio apartments are not a “problem” or a “threat” for these people. The same disdain they have for public transit, dense housing, and social welfare systems, they also have for the dumb saps who aren’t tech millionaires and actually suffer the consequences of their exclusionary attitude and policy. Sucks to be them!
