Reaching Toward Your Dreams
Everyone has dreams. That’s no surprise. The big surprise is how little people tend to work toward them. The obvious way to work toward dreams is to set goals, but a goal without action will forever remain a dream.
That last sentence shows the big reason why 99% of the population never achieves their biggest and most important dreams. They don’t take action. They think and think about their dreams, imagining how much more satisfying their life would be if they could only achieve. Let’s spit some truth for a second. Most people are afraid of hard work. Either that, or they really don’t understand what hard work looks like.
The reason why very few people achieve the level of success that they want is because they grossly underestimate the amount of work it takes to get there. Even if you have a pretty good idea of the effort it will take to succeed, chances are you’re still underestimating it. Things come up, plans don’t always go according to the blueprint. The ugly truth is that you have to work day in and day out on making your dreams a reality.
So when you start to imagine what your dream life would look like, accept that it will take relentless levels of blood, sweat, and tears to get there. It might not work the first time, or the second, or the third, but if you keep your head down and keep driving forward then you will win at the game of life. Remember, the key to the life that you want, to the dream you envision for yourself, is through action.
