If you haven’t seen it yet, Rica Elysee and I have a new mission: to help support, connect and empower other female founders here in the Boston area. Everyday I am astounded by how many of us there actually are. So we’ve decided to bring 12 of them to the table every month to meet each other.

That’s where the concept of #AtTheTable was born — to create a safe space where women entrepreneurs can help guide each other in the spirit of mutual experience and support.

To offer one time each month when female voices are the loudest. To discuss challenges, but to most importantly focus on solutions.

The women who join us #AtTheTable are passionate, busy entrepreneurs. But they also understand the importance of lifting one another up. When you show up #AtTheTable you can expect to meet 11 other women who are ready to help you get what you need done.

Of course, there is only so much Rica and know together. While Rica is a Boston local, I’ve only been living here for the past year and a half. So we’re bringing in some of the most powerful resources for female founders out there to help us.

Our three amazing community partners will work with us each month to identify incredible, visionary women who want to share their voices and help one another at the same time.

Here’s who they are:

Women Entrepreneurs Boston (WE BOS): A City of Boston initiative to gather and support women entrepreneurs. Don’t miss their popular WE BOS week in October.

Babson WIN Lab: Amazing eight-month accelerator for female founders based right here in Boston with access to some of our region’s top business minds. Applications for the next cohor begin in March.

SheStarts: Networking, coaching, and events to support the pipeline of women entrepreneurs in Boston. Check out their popular networking breakfasts that are open to everyone.

By the way — hey Boston, thanks.

Support has been pouring in.

Rica and I have received loads of emails from people wanting to support, host, attend — it’s been so exciting to see how big and embracing the Boston community has been in launching this.

And now…we can’t wait to announce our first event this March! Expect the official application to come out tomorrow. That application will help us curate an interesting and diverse mix of women entrepreneurs every month.

In the meantime, if you love with we’re doing, please keep up the support! Here’s an easy click to tweet to get started.

Hope to see you #atthetable soon :)
