Define yourself as a writer

As a writer I find clarity in simplicity. I like to keep my sentences short and vocabulary simple in order to appeal to all ages and people. I am big on spelling and grammar. I can’t stand to read something with such silly mistakes such as spelling and grammar. I also notice that I tend to repeat the same words a lot in my writing. Maybe it’s because I use a simpler way of writing so I seem to use all the same words? Not exactly sure but I am trying to change it and broaden my vocabulary. I also seem to write much better when it is not free lancing and when its more research based because it helps give me ideas on what to write. I would rather write shorter texts like blogs rather than 6–10 page papers. When I write long papers I often find myself repeating a lot of the same material and statements.
