I hope to discuss these things very early on with my children. I remember that as a teenager, the realization that the universe might one day disappear into nothing was one of the most important ideas in my life.

It was this great Paul Davies quote that made me think a lot about it.

A universe that came from nothing in the big bang will disappear into nothing at the big crunch. Its glorious few zillion years of existence not even a memory.

So yes, it will be gone but that’s ok.
