The most important mobile game releases on the global markets in November 2019. Also 8 new Apple Arcade titles, 3 soft launches, 10 announced and 6 cancelled games.

Major Developers/Publishers

1.Minecraft Earth by Mojang (Microsoft). Location-based AR version of the juggernaut franchise. Staged roll out or multi-country soft launch, including USA, Japan and many European countries. 1.2M downloads in the first week in USA.

2.Might & Magic Heroes: Era of Chaos by Playcrab/Ubisoft. Tactical RPG with character collection. Continues the story line of Heroes of Might & Magic 3, the best game in the series. But the title would disappoint fans of classic strategy, because it’s a mobile F2P from tip to toe with light tactical battles and heavy character progression based on numerous currencies and resources. The game was announced back in April 2017 with a release date originally set for June 2017.

3.Om Nom: Merge by Amuzo/ZeptoLab Green. New installment of the popular green candy-grabbing franchise. ZeptoLab spun off a new subsidiary ZeptoLab Green, which focuses on Om Nom franchise development.

4.Battle Breakers by Epic Games. Hero collecting tactical RPG from creators of Unreal Engine and Fortnite. A rare 2D game built on Unreal engine. Android version is available via Epic Games App.

5.SongPop Live by FreshPlanet (Gameloft). Song guessing trivia quiz during live shows with human hosts in HQ Trivia fashion. Cash prizes are available for US and Canada players.

6.Raids & Puzzles: RPG Quest by IGG.com. Match3 fantasy RPG.

7.Best Fiends Stars by Seriously (Playtika). Match3 in a franchise, which passed $285M in lifetime revenue.

8.Smite Blitz by Hi-Rez Studios. Hero collecting RPG in gods inhabited Smite universe.

9.Iron Force 2 by Coolfish/EA Chillingo. PvP tank battles. An attack on Wargaming’s territory.

10.Girl’s War Z by Com2uS. Character collecting RPG, where anime styled girls stand in the line of defense and shoot incoming zombies.

11.Archery Club: PvP Multiplayer by BoomBit. Competitive simulator of the archery range reached 1M downloads.

12.Idle Monster Factory by Boombit. Idle tycoon, where you’re a mad scientist, who manufactures funny monsters on a factory scale to frighten kids.

13.Right Runner by Nexus Studios/UNICEF. Endless runner for rising awareness for children’s rights.

14.Call of Duty Companion App by Activision. Call of Duty: Modern Combat players can earn in-game rewards by using the app.

A. Hearthstone Battlegrounds by Blizzard. Autobattler mode inspired by Autochess is now available in the most popular CCG.

B.Call of Duty Mobile by TiMi Studios/Tencent/Activision. The 2nd season adds a new Zombie Survival mode present in PC/consoles versions.

20.Cartoon Network Plasma Pop by Cartoon Network. Bubble shooter with CN characters.

21.Omnitrix Assault — Ben 10 by Cartoon Network. A simple action/fighting with Ben 10 characters.

22.Skip-A-Head — Gumball by Cartoon Network. Hyercasual action from CN: Cat Gumball bounces on heads of people and other folks to skip waiting in line.

23.Archer: Danger Phone by Disruptor Beam. A narrative game about dysfunctional secret agent Archer and his colleagues based on animated TV series.

24.Sword Art Online by Bandai Namco. RPG based on Japanese light novel series adapted to manga and anime.

25.Steven Seagal Survival by Tesla Games. Survival game with action hero from 90s takes place on an island infested by zombies. (Reskin of the game Survivalist: Invasion from the same developer).

5.SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off by Nukebox Studios/Tilting Point. Release: February 04, 2020. Cooking game with SpongeBob characters and setting.

6.Spies in Disguise: Agents on the Run by Denali Publishing/Blue Sky Studios. Endless runner based on animation movie Spies in Disguise featuring Will Smith. Movie Release: December 27.

8.Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds by Level-5/Netmarble. Next fantasy MMORPG in Ni no Kuni world created by Level-5. Release: 2nd half of 2020 in Japan.

9.Seven Knights Revolution by Netmarble. Fantasy MMORPG. Release: late 2020 in Korea. Unknown if it will be released outside of Korea .

Cancelled Games in Soft Launch

1.Rush Wars by Supercell (Tencent). Strategy with base building and tower defense elements. Probable successor for Boom Beach.

2.Legend at War by Social Point (Take-Two Interactive). Hero collecting RPG.

3.MapleStory Blitz by Nexon. Brawler with deck assembling in Clash Royale style.

4.Rumble League by Space Ape Games (Supercell/Tencent). Competitive MOBA/Battle Royal will be closed down on January 30, 2020.

5.PayDay: Crime War by NBCUniversal/Starbreeze. Mulitplayer FPS in PayDay setting. “The game is expected to be re-launched with a new publisher”.

6.Funko Pop Blitz by NBCUniversal. Match3 with Funko Pop figurines collecting. “NBCUniversal announced in September that the firm was looking to close its game publishing division after expanding the business less than three years ago.”
