“At the time, we thought it was hilarious.”

So a someone got punished for something you and others for weeks thought was harmless and funny?!

And then only later you thought the behaviour was “disgusting and appalling and horrifying” ?!

I’m sorry, but harassment can’t and shouldn’t work that way. You can’t go punishing people for things that didn’t actually cause harm to you at the time.
