Chocolate-Covered Strawberries and a Wedding

Carlo and I sell chocolate-covered strawberries to help fund our wedding. In the course of 5 months while preparing for the wedding, we both got sick which drained our finances and some projects got delayed.
We had to act quickly because we don’t want to postpone the wedding again. My father was able to financially help us out. Carlo’s best man, Adrian gave Carlo the idea of selling chocolate-covered strawberries. Carlo sold these heavenly treats back in college, and they were a hit among college students and office workers.
We are grateful to our friends and networks who ordered boxes and boxes of our product. They saw that we are willing to work hard for the money we need by hustling.
Producing each chocolate-covered strawberry is a tedious and a monotonous task, yet I enjoy every minute of it. I work at the comfort of our kitchen with the help of our trusty helper Imelda. I love the bittersweet scent of the dark chocolate slowly melting over hot water. I enjoy the fresh scent of strawberries flown from California. They are like rubies with small diamonds as seeds that promise me Carlo and I will last forever. Dipping each strawberry in melted chocolate is a careful ritual where our hopes and dreams lie. Boxing the chocolate-covered strawberries is similar to sending our wishes to the heavens hoping we’ll be blessed with happiness.
Each box is a product of our hopes, dreams, struggles, faith, tears, joys, and above all — love. We hope that with each bite, you will enjoy these treats as we have enjoyed producing them for you. The strawberries in front of you is our love story and the story that will shape our future.
