No Matter What Happens, Just Write

If you want to be a writer, there’s nothing to do but write.
It’s great to take writing classes or get a degree in creative writing and literature, but nothing beats the experience of putting your own words into paper. The act of writing, no matter how flawed your narrative is at first, is still the best teacher.
Your first attempt in writing will have a confusing plot, your thoughts will flounder, you will misuse words, your grammar will be terrible, and will just suck. Still, do not give up. Ever.
Great authors have been writing and been rejected a lot of times before they got their big break. There is no such thing as overnight success. They kept on writing until they have given up hope and found it again.
Even if your mind wanders, write.
Even if you are in pain, write.
Even if you are uninspired, write.
Even if you are in the throes of depression, write.
Even if you’re confused, write.
Even if you got nothing to say, write.
Even if you feel you lost everything, write.
It is never easy to string words together that make sense and at the same time, touch peoples’ lives. Still, it shouldn’t matter. If you are passionate about writing, then let it consume you. Let that hunger for literary greatness be your fuel so you won’t give up.
People will either love or hate your work; it really doesn’t matter. As long as you’re happy and you’re one getting one step closer to your dream of becoming a writer, then you are ahead of the others.
No matter what happens, just write. In the end, your words will matter to people because they mattered to you.
