Six years ago, I started working as an excited junior engineer at a German software company. During my time working there, I was lucky to have excellent mentors who helped me grow my mindset from being a junior developer, just starting to learn his job to become a more sophisticated developer. They taught me how it isn’t sufficient to focus on technology and strive to be the best at writing code and how it is way harder to step back and focus on building great products that can evolve and make sure everyone on the team can work together seamlessly.
