  1. Big World Cup news: On Sunday, FIFA announced that North Texas will host nine matches, including a semifinal, at AT&T Stadium in the FIFA World Cup 2026! Leading up to the big games, Fort Worth will continue its collaboration with Arlington and Dallas to deliver a world-class World Cup experience for the teams, fans, and visitors.
  2. Spend more time at Community Centers: To expand access to community services and programs, seven Fort Worth Community Centers now have expanded hours — Chisholm Trail, Eugene McCray, Fire Station, Handley-Meadowbrook, Highland Hills, R.D. Evans, and Southwest.
  3. City Council: There will be a City Council Worksession Meeting on Tuesday covering several staff reports as well as presentations on AllianceTexas Economic Impact, Employee’s Retirement Fund, City Employee Benefits, 2024 Housing Tax Credit Applications, and Payroll Improvements. There will also be an Ad Hoc Council Committee on Emergency Medical Response, Executive Session, and Public Comment meeting.
