‘The Big Six’ Analysis!
What is this About?
Football is a sport is globally known for its nail biting matches and crazy fans supporting their clubs and country.In this chapter we have chosen Premier League football which is England’s domestic league and also the best football league in the world.We will be analyzing the stats of the well known ‘Big Six’ of the premier league which are Arsenal,Tottenham Hotspur,Chelsea,Manchester United,Manchester City,Liverpool.
The data was obtained from ‘kaggle’ and is representative of seasons 2006/2007 to 2017/2018.
We will answer some interesting questions and about the six giants and obtain answers in the form of different types graphs.
Firstly,we need to import all the libraries that we will be needing for the analysis.
There was no need of prepossessing the data as their were no null values or any irregular values.

We will start by answering,
1.Which team among the big six has won the maximum no of matches from 2006/07 to 2017/2018?
We can see that Manchester United has the most winnings (18.84%) from 2006/07 to 2017/18 among the Big Six.
2.Which team among the Big Six has lost maximum no of matches from 2006/07 to 2017/2018?
Again we see dominance of Manchester United continues,as they have the least no of matches lost in their name.
Tottenham Hotspurs lost maximum matches among the six teams.
3.Which team among the Big Six drew Most no of Matches from 2006/07 to 2017/18?
We see that Liverpool drew most no of their games between 2006/07 to 2017/18.
4.Most no of goals scored by a team in the Big Six from 2006/07 to 2017/18?
As we can see from the above chart ,dominated by Manchester City and Manchester United,and the least no of goals scored by Tottenham Hotspur.
5.Now we will Analyze the no of away and home goals scored by the teams for each seasons individually!
For 2006/2007 Season!
For 2008/2009 Season!
For 2013/2014 Season!
2013/2014 Season was dominated by Manchester City as we can see by the no of goals scored!
And so on we can analyze each team for no of goals in each Season.
6.Which team has the best away record among the Big Six from 2006/2007 to 2017/2018?
We see that Chelsea as been the most successful team to win games away from home closely followed by Manchester United.
7.Which team has the best home record among the Big Six from 2006/2007 to 2017/2018?
We can see that Manchester United had the best fortress at their home ground at Old Trafford having the best home record.
We can conclude by the above few questions that Manchester United has somewhat dominated the duration between 2006/07 to 2017/2018 during the great SAF Era mostly(Sir Alex Ferguson).
