Six of My Absolute Favorite Places to Eat in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is known for quite a few different things; luxury living, gambling, entertainment and, of course, food. But just like anywhere else in the world, it helps to have some local experience when it comes to finding the best option for your time in the city.

Here are six of my absolute favorite places to eat:

1) For breakfast or brunch, I love CRAFTkitchen.

It has an industrial vibe, great coffee, and farm-to-table chef creations. I especially like the farmer’s market stack of quinoa cakes, but the entire menu is great. My family are regulars here, and it’s nice to be able to sit outside with our two dogs.

2) For larger group gatherings, go to Eggworks.

This place has big omelets, skillets and great banana nut muffins as well as tons of room and great service.

3) For Sunday mornings, I like Griddlecakes or Crêpe Expectations.

Not only do both of these places have amazing food and service but they also share the same parking lot as the weekly Sunday farmers market. So, we put our name in for a table at one of them, then go buy organic produce and come back in time for our table.

4) For sushi, Hiroba is the best!

Everything here is fresh and very reasonably priced. They have awesome black rice sushi rolls, too. Oh, and they have oysters! I love the oysters and Hamachi, but even for the non-sushi eaters they have great rice bowls and bento boxes. I highly recommend checking this place out.

5) For takeout, Go Lucki Thai

My family loves the Pad Thai, Panang curry, and papaya salad from this place, not to mention they’re super-fast.

6) For happy hour, our favorite is Standard and Pour.

This place has great drink and food specials for happy hour and a terrace that overlooks the Vegas city view. It’s the perfect place to land after a long day.
