Im an African and I have experienced challenge where my ‘strength' as a woman has been directly interpreted as being cheeky. Which is infuriating because my independence and right to be more as a woman has been reduced to an element of attitude. My desire to challenge has been (like any Man’s desire to challenge) is seen as an issue but is not the case when done by a male counterpart. A societal mindshift is needed!
