Fake? or Real?

Fake news is all around us. It is a growing problem. Where it is growing and spreading the most is social media. We are the generation that ‘has the world at our fingertips’. As soon as I open apps like Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, all I see is new headlines for ridiculous news stories. It is getting harder and harder to differentiate between what is real and what isn’t. I try to ignore as many ridiculous news stories as possible. I think that people shouldn’t be posting any false news at all. There is no point to it and it doesn’t benefit our society in any way. I think that people who unknowingly share fake news needs to become more educated on how to spot fake news: such as looking for the credibility of the source. It is frustrating seeing all this false news mixed in with the truth that floods our media. I think it would be beneficial to us all if we just stopped all of this at the source and so all it would be is truth. Although that would be idea, we don’t live in a perfect world.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
