Every Late Night Talk Show Is A Sleazy Plutocratic Rim Job
Caitlin Johnstone

Beautiful! Thank you! Keep it up!

It’s astonishing how the mainstream news sites and lesser sites (Alternet, even Truthdig) ensure we don’t miss what late-night comics have to say. Colbert, Bee, and Noah are now important news reporters (happened when I wasn’t looking); and it’s apparently critically important that we know (and care about) what they say.

Bee’s rampant support for Clinton (and distaste for Sanders), Noah’s apology for Obama, Colbert’s pretty-much-everything-lately, are all disgusting. I’m sick of going to so-called news sites to see what the late-night comics had to say. (If I wanted to know, I would have watched.)

I admit I’m slow, but this last year or so has been truly eye-opening. It’s astonishing how much we’re manipulated and misinformed. And it’s all done so embarrassingly poorly! Even so, I’m surprised how many people still don’t see it. (And how long it’s taken me to get it.)

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
