- Go to the path where the public key is located, open it with notepad and copy the content
- Login to your GitHub, in the upper-right corner of any page, click your profile photo, then click Settings.
- On the left sidebar, click SSH and GPG keys.
- Click New SSH key.
- In the “Title” field, (example: “Personal laptop”).
- Then under key, paste the content of the public key copied previously
- click Add SSH key.
