I want to share my experience on in-person drop. On 24th of this month, I planned to go to drop my resume and cover letter in Interloop (well known organization in textile industry).

Before Going for in-person drop

First I want to share my preparation at my hostel for this purpose. I open my laptop and visit website of interloop( http://www.interloop-pk.com/ ) to know about organization.as my field is finance ,so I visit financial reports and top management of the interloop. I take almost 2 hours to know all about what they are currently doing and what they share to do in future.it helps me a lot to know about organization.

I went at interloop after traveling 1 hour on bike but when I tried to enter, gate keeper stopped me and ask the reason to entrance. I told him I want to meet HR manager Mr waheed.but he said have you any appointment with him? I replied no but today is open day for visitors so please let me go. After me insist, he allowed me to go in waiting room first. I reached in waiting room and ask receptionist to allow me to go to HR office but he said we cannot allow to anyone without appointment. But he said he can deliver my message to HR that someone want to meet him. After waiting 2 hours in waiting room, he said HR ask to come in his office. I go to his office and saw he looks very busy but ask me to sit and wait. After almost 20 minutes, he said why you want to meet me? First I greet him properly and share reason to come. He quickly responds just apply online.no need to come personally now. But I asked him just give me your precious 2 minutes for this talk. He said ok fine. I shared my elevator pitch with him in which I cover all my points which I learnt from Amal academy.at the end, he said you are very energetic and passionate about interloop. we will defiantly call you for dropping your resume when we have vacancies open. But for the time being, I asked him to give his visiting card. he gave and also talked my contact number as well.
