They’re children — and you’re their parents. People always told me how well-behaved and responsible my son was. I’d smile and say “Thanks. We try.” but I really wanted to stare at them and say “Who? My son? That guy over there?”

They do eventually grow up though (but not before we have the grey hair to prove they are our kids).
