OK, let’s take my standard. I used the words “Democrats,” and “all Democrats” throughout my responses to you, and when I used the word “Democrats,” I obviously used it in a collective sense, because you’re well aware that when saying things like “Democrats did imply that Sarah Palin was responsible for Giffords shooting,” you were also using the term “Democrats” in a collective sense — otherwise why didn’t you agree with me from the beginning that not all Democrats implied such a thing? If you really used it defined as “more than one” that would only denote any number of 2 or above — so tell me, WAS that your meaning or not? If it wasn’t then why did you just insult me for saying it refereed to All democrats? You also used the words “the Democrats,” which actually does refer to a collective use of that word — if that’s not true, then why didn’t you challenge me when I answered as if that’s what you meant? And remember it was you who brought up this entire hair splitting exercise in the first place! You’re the one who just tried to claim that you didn’t really mean all democrats or even many Democrats, in order to dodge the fact that you foolishly stereotyped a large number of people.
I know you don’t believe me, but I actually didn’t know if you were a man or a women for a few reasons — one being that the picture along with your name shows a man and a woman, who look like they are dressed for a graduation exercise, and the one wearing the bright bold colors is a woman — so to me it seemed logical that the person who stood out the most in the photo would be the person who was commenting while using that photo — no real reason to think that perhaps, but using the name Louis really does have either a male of female designation when used as a nickname. Look at this quote from Wikipedia below:

Nicknames[edit]
“Many popular nicknames are unisex. Some nicknames, such as Alex and Pat, have become popular as given names in their own right. The following list of unisex nicknames are most commonly seen in English-speaking countries such as Canada, the United States, Australia, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.”
And included in the list is:
I know people with unisex nicknames like Alex or Alec, Bobbie Bobbi or Bobby. Chris, Christi, Christie, or Christy — You get the idea — and Louis is another one of those unisex names which can used as a nickname.
Now that I know better, I can only say that I am sorry for the mistake, you probably won’t believe me anyway but I do understand how being referred to as a woman can hurt. I was bullied in High School like many others students were.
As far as your silly taunts when accusing me of being childish, I’d say your habit of cutting down my character and demeaning me while calling me a liar, as being stupid, without integrity, of being in the gutter, or of being dishonest, is one of the most childish ways to avoid a civilized discussion, and it tells me a lot about your character, or your lack of it.
Here again is part of the New York Times excerpt that you used which says exactly why your cookie cutter, stereotyping and denigrating claims are wrong:
“…. A map that showed the targeted electoral districts of Ms. Giffords and 19 other Democrats under stylized cross hairs. But in that case no connection to the shooting was ever established.”
In other words, the same New York Times that had been critical of the right, found that no political right-wing motives were discovered! So, the liberal Press ultimately did not lay this on the right’s influence, and those that did blame Palin most likely retracted their errors also.
That’s what I mean when saying that this was little more than a media fueled bundle of speculations, and why it can’t be blamed on “All Democrats,” which is exactly what you tried to infer!
