First of all I would like to say what happened to your family is unacceptable. I must say that I have never heard of a police car not stopping when being waved down especially if there was an accident involving a pregnant lady holding a toddler. (Unless in a pursuit) If this cop was in pursuit they should have put out a call on the radio. The second one should have stopped to see if there were any injuries and to assist with the reports or at least tell you help was on the way before taking off. Regretfully this did not happen. I hope you got the car numbers and reported them to their superiors so they could be reprimanded and forced to go through some sort of retraining. I am glad you and your family did not suffer any injuries and hope that the filing of police reports and dealing with insurance companies went well for you. I would like to know what police department this was so I can make some calls and have this looked into. If this happened once I am sure it is still happening and this needs to be ”nipped in the bud ASAP”. I have good connections to deal with these situations. Once again I am sorry this happened to your family and hopefully you never experience this again.
